Business development/Quotations Specialist (bd/qS)

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Serve as direct point of contact for our customers, architects & engineers, and others regarding quotations.
  • Generate outbound quotes and handle questions, concerns, and follow ups regarding RFQ's and outstanding quotes.
  • Work with various lead generation sources and platforms to identify opportunities to quote company products.
  • Work with outside sales team as needed to assist in closing opportunities.
  • Keep records of transactions and update and maintain databases of information. This includes recording all contact into CRM.
  • Train on CNES product lines as well as gain a knowledge of competitor's products being quoted.
  • Assist with inside sales duties as needed.
  • Attend meetings and presentations with other team members and CNES manufacturers as needed.
  • ​High school diploma or equivalent. (Associates degree preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred.

Outside Sales Representatives: 

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential wholesale customers.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals.
  • Establish, maintain and manage current customer and potential customer relationships
  • Provide and participate in on-the-job training to new sales employees
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have previous knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Coordinate company and manufacturer staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. This will include joint travel and sales calls.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, factory trips, counter days, and telemarketing events.
  • Ability to maintain a lifestyle with significant local travel. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of pulling a small light duty trailer.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include occasional evenings, weekend work, and overnight travel. Also included are occasional trips by car or plane.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of outside sales or marketing experience (preferred).

Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Ensure that customers receive an excellent level of service.
  • Provide information in response to inquiries about products or services and to handle and resolve complaints.
  • Aid customers in completing purchases or transactions.
  • Communicate with customers while entering data into a computer system.
  • Keep records of transactions and update and maintain databases of information. This includes recording all contact into CRM.
  • Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and handle administrative and clerical duties.
  • Communicate with outside sales people and have regular interaction with customers from all sales territories.
  • Attend conferences and conventions to discuss new product developments.
  • Demonstrate basic to intermediate computer knowledge and good interpersonal skills.
